CubBuddy Privacy Policy

CubBuddy is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose your information when you use our mobile application.

1. Information We Collect and Purpose

We collect the following information to provide and improve our services:

  • Personal Identifiers: We collect your first name, last name, email address, and phone number.

    • Purpose: To create and manage your account and provide customer support.

  • Authentication: We use Apple Account (Sign in with Apple) to facilitate secure account creation.

  • Camera Access: With your explicit permission, we access your device camera.

    • Purpose (Product Functionality): To allow you to capture and upload photos for your user profile and [insert other app use, e.g., "sharing updates"]. We do not access your photos or camera without your direct interaction.

  • Purchase History: We keep a record of your subscription status and transaction history.

2. Payments and Financial Data

We offer two methods for processing payments. We do not personally store or collect your raw credit card numbers or CVV codes.

  • Apple Pay / In-App Purchases: Handled securely by Apple. Payment is charged to your iTunes Account.

  • Stripe: Handled securely by Stripe. If used, your payment data is sent directly to Stripe’s servers.

  • Subscription Terms: Payments for subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage this in your Apple Account Settings.

3. Third-Party Services & Analytics

  • No Analytics: We do not use Google Analytics or other third-party tracking suites.

  • No Advertising: We do not show third-party ads or engage in remarketing.

  • No Data Selling: We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA & CalOPPA)

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have the following rights:

  • Right to Know/Access: Request the specific pieces of personal information we have collected.

  • Right to Delete: Request the deletion of your personal information.

  • Right to Correct: Request correction of inaccurate personal data.

  • Right to Opt-Out of Sharing: We do not sell or share your data for cross-context behavioral advertising.

  • CalOPPA (Do Not Track): We do not track our users over time and across third-party websites and therefore do not respond to "Do Not Track" signals.

5. Children’s Privacy

CubBuddy does not knowingly collect or solicit any information from anyone under the age of 13. If we learn we have collected such info, we will delete it immediately.

6. Data Deletion & Contacting Us
